We gather every Sunday for worship. Our 8:00 AM service is a simple spoken communion service in our chapel. Our 10:00 AM is a more fulsome service in our main sanctuary with choir and organ. All are welcome!

What To Expect

At St. James, you’ll find a warm, traditional, and beautiful atmosphere where everyone is welcome. Each service includes:

  • Communion (Holy Eucharist)

  • Readings from Scripture

  • Prayers of the people

  • Passing of the peace

  • A thoughtful and engaging homily

  • Beautiful music

  • Genuine community

Dress as you’re comfortable. Our ushers will be at the door to greet you and everything you need is in the bulletin!

KIDS & FAMILIES

Bringing Kids? We’ve Got You Covered!

Our nursery care is available during the 10:00 AM service.

  • Check-in opens 15 minutes prior

  • Age-appropriate games and activities provided (and lots of magna-tiles!)

  • Loving, background-checked workers

  • Care and attention to your little ones

Kids are still welcome in the sanctuary, and “fidget boxes” are provided with activities they can do during the service! Jesus said “let the little children come to me.”

We also have child friendly activities throughout the year, including our beloved Easter Egg Hunt!

Our ushers will greet you at the door! They’ll have everything you need including the bulletins. There is also a section for new members, email list signup, and name tags. If you have a question, just ask!

Get to Know Us Better

  • There’s no dress code at St. James—come as you are! Some people dress formally while others dress a little more casually. We simply want you to feel comfortable.

  • We gather for worship on Sundays at 8:00 AM & 10:00 AM, with Midweek Eucharist on Wednesdays at 11:30 AM. Check our Services page for more details.

  • Nursery care is available at our 10 AM service but kiddos are also welcome in worship! We have activities for them to do if they wish, and we love having them present for communion. We welcome all ages!

  • Not at all. Whether you’re exploring faith for the first time or looking for a new church home, you are always welcome here.

  • There are many ways to connect—from services to groups and volunteer opportunities. Visit our Ministries page or stop by the welcome table on Sunday to learn more.

  • Any baptized Christian person, regardless of denomination or background, can receive communion. This is God’s table, and all are welcome to the altar. If you would like to receive a blessing instead, cross your arms with your chest and our clergy will bless you.
