Experiencing God through tradition, prayer, and song.

Gather Together

We gather each week to worship, learn, and grow together as a community of faith. Our two main services are on Sunday mornings at 8:00 AM and 10:00 AM. The 8:00 AM service is held in the chapel in the St. James Center and is a simple, spoken service with communion. The 10:00 AM is a more fulsome communion service with choir and organ and is located in our main sanctuary

In The Episcopal Church, we call our communion service “Holy Eucharist” which comes from the Greek word for thanksgiving. We believe worship is first and foremost an offering of thanks to God for the gift of life and the ability to gather together in God’s name.

CELEBRATE WITH US

Seasonal Services

As Episcopalians, we follow the liturgical calendar and celebrate major holidays and feast days including Christmas and Easter. We also celebrate other days like All Saints, Christ our King, The Baptism of Our Lord, and Pentecost, and follow liturgical seasons like Advent and Lent.

  • A priest in white and gold robes standing at an altar inside a church, reading from a paper during a religious ceremony. The altar is decorated with white lilies, pink flowers, and candles, with a large wooden cross with the letters 'IHS' behind him. There are musicians in the foreground, and the church has a wood-paneled wall.

    Easter Sunday

Celebrate the hope and resurrection of Jesus with timeless liturgy, joyful song, and genuine community.

  • A Nativity scene with figurines of Mary, Joseph, Baby Jesus, and animals, arranged on a cloth with pine branches. In the background, there is a church altar with a cross, poinsettias, candles, and church plaques.

    Christmas Eve

Experience the beauty of Christmas through candlelight worship, traditional carols, and a message of peace and hope.

  • Wooden octagonal table with a metal basin and a folded tissue with a shell design on a red carpet.

    Baptism Sundays

While there are preferred Sundays for baptism, we celebrate baptisms throughout the year as we welcome infants, children, and adults into the Body of Christ.

  • A painted portrait of an older man dressed as a pilgrim, with gray hair and beard, wearing a wide-brimmed hat, brown cloak, and holding a staff and a book.

    St James Day

Every year we celebrate the feast day of our Patron Saint and have a celebration with low country boil (also known as frogmoore stew).
